Imaginative Writing

Today we were having a crack at some imaginative writing. Primary 5 were writing about a time they were scared and in Primary 4 we were trying to get the hang of writing settings for our stories.
After we had written them we all read out our imaginative pieces and then voted on our favourites. The top three were Alex, Sophie and Isabelle. Here are their stories:

Alex has written about how he was scared by his sister Kathryn's reaction to a giant spider in the hall!

Sophie wrote the setting for a story called 'The Cottage'.

Isabelle wrote a story about an incredibly messy house!

Well done to our winners and to all the children who worked hard on some excellent pieces!

  1. When I was their age I was scared of earwigs! I still don't like them (fortunately I won't be writing a story)
