In Primary 4 language today we were looking at comprehension. The passage was all about manners. We were talking about what things were good manners or bad manners in our country and then looking at some customs from abroad.
In the picture below Steven and Benjamin are shaking hands which is a common greeting in our country. This dates from the middle ages when knights would offer an empty right hand to each other as a way of showing they held no weapon and were therefore friends.
