Yesterday P4/5 began the construction of the Solar System! A big job you may think, which is why we only managed 4 planets and will have to do the others next week!
We used paper mache and balloons to make Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars today. We looked at the relative sizes of the planets and tried to make the bigger ones bigger and the smaller ones... smaller!
We are going to hang these from the classroom ceiling to make our very own solar system!
Great fun was had by all!
