'I can use what I learn to create my own stories... with interesting structures, characters and settings.'
Today we were writing stories and looking specifically at setting and plot. We talked about the ancient Greeks and how they loved stories of grand quests.
We imagined our own 'worlds' and drew maps of them. This picture shows Toby's. We included lots of locations where exciting things could happen.
After drawing our maps we wrote stories of quests with something lost or stolen has to be recovered.
It was great fun and the stories are coming on well! We may get some videoed and on the blo for you.
